Driver charged in hit-and-run that killed two people on Memorial Day

Cleveland police have a suspect in custody after two people died in a hit-and-run on Memorial Day.

Darius Kinney was arraigned in Cleveland  Municipal Court on Wednesday. He is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.

He is being held on a $35,000 bond.

A car traveling at a high-speed near 3555 E. 93rd Street struck a male and a female as they crossed the street.

The vehicle did not stop. Witnesses reported that they saw a vehicle matching a description of an SUV parked at 3591 E. 104th Street.

Hours later, police located the SUV and the Kinney was taken into custody without incident.
