Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
The initiative aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications, according to the DEA.
There are more than 40 locations in Cuyahoga County alone where residents can drop off unused prescriptions.
All prescription medications can be dropped off, with the exception of liquids, needles, or illicit drugs.
