East Cleveland police investigating after fatal shooting; reward offered for information

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police are investigating and a reward is being offered for information after a man was shot and killed Monday morning in East Cleveland.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of Charles Road after receiving reports of shots fired and a man down, police said.

Once on scene, officers observed a man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head, according to police.

The man was transported to University Hospitals where he was pronounced dead.

Police released images of four people believed to be involved in the shooting. They also provided an image of that the vehicle looks like, but it is not the actual vehicle.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area of Charles Road and has information regarding the shooting to contact police at 216-681-2162.

Information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the shooter may be eligible for up to a $2,500 reward, police said.
