The North Pointe apartments in Euclid—the complex where residents have been plagued by rats, filth and trash— is now in foreclosure, according to the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts. It's the latest act in our months-long investigation into the ongoing issues affecting residents who call it home.

Residents at the complex have lived with problems for years— citing crumbling balconies, missing fireproofing in the underground garage, trash buildup and a rat infestation.

The owners of the complex failed to pay the $38 million mortgage over the last several months. In January, News 5 reported the owner has not made a payment since October.
