MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio — A local charity held a Bob Ross painting fundraiser at Fat Head’s Brewery in Middleburg Heights Friday.
A Special Wish Foundation Cleveland Chapter, a wish-granting foundation for Cleveland-based children with life-threatening diseases, held the paint night Friday evening to help raise money for the non-profit.
Tickets sold for $45 and included paint supplies, a drink ticket and of course, a Bob Ross wig.
The painting tutorial was taught by Mary Kenney, who is a Bob Ross-certified instructor.
This is the second event of its kind this month. The foundation held the first event on May 10, but when the event sold out quickly, they decided to hold another.
Friday’s event was sold out within a matter of days.
All of the proceeds will go to help Cleveland-area youth, from newborns to 20-year-olds, have their wishes granted by the foundation.
