One student pepper sprayed another during a fight at a Cleveland high school Tuesday.
According to Cleveland Metropolitan School District's Roseann Canfora, two students were arguing in the testing center when one student sprayed the other.
The teacher broke up the fight and took the students to the principal's office, where their parents were called.
Cleveland fire officials said one adult and one student were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A teacher from across the hall took the remaining students to a room that was not affected by the pepper spray.
Both students are facing discipline from the school, according to Canfora.
Officials say they don't know how the student got the pepper spray past the metal detector.
