PARMA, Ohio — A fire broke out at a home in Parma Thursday evening.
The fire happened in the 7100 block of Velma Avenue around 7:30 p.m.
According to officials at the scene, one person was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center with smoke inhalation injuries.
Their condition is unknown.
Officials said the snow and sub freezing temperatures created hazards for responding units.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
