WOODMERE, Ohio — The Woodmere Fire Department and surrounding departments battled a fire in freezing temperatures at Beechmont Towers on Chagrin Boulevard Wednesday morning.
Units on the third and fourth floor were affected with four units sustaining major damage and two others with water damage.
Update: Appears everyone got out safe. Fire is under control at this point. The hose line spraying out the window helps pull the smoke out of the building. pic.twitter.com/lfSNsyoWca

Fire officials said everyone was able to get out of the apartment complex.
Freezing temperatures had firefighters struggling to disconnect hoses from each other. Normally they would reload the truck with the hoses, but because it's so cold, they are letting them thaw out at the station.
There is no cause on the fire yet.
