Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority suspends park-n-ride and downtown trolley service

CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority will suspend Park N’ Ride and Downtown Trolley bus service effective Tuesday, March 24 following Gov. DeWine’s “Stay at Home” order announced Sunday.

RTA will resume service after the Gov. DeWine lifts the order, which remains in effect until April 6.

Customers can use the rapid as an alternate route for service downtown.

RTA suggest customers use the ample free parking available at the following Red Line stations:

  • Strongsville Park-n-Ride: use the Brookpark or Puritas Station
  • Westlake Park-n-ride: Use the Trinket Station just off I-90
  • North Olmsted Park-n-Ride: Use the Brookpark or Puritas Station

Customers will need to show proof of payment when they exit at the Tower City Station.
