Darius Ramey, the suspect in a July 11 shooting death of an Elyria man, has turned himself in to police.
Kenneth Shinafelt, 31, was shot to death just before midnight on July 11 in the 2300 block of Reeves Avenue. Ramey managed to elude police until he turned himself in earlier today.
Ramey, 16, was accompanied by his attorney, Anthony Baker Esq., when he turned himself into Lorain police. He will be held at Lorain County Detention Home pending a hearing in juvenile court.
