Hot Sauce Williams, an iconic Cleveland barbeque joint located on Carnegie Avenue for the past 24 years, will sling its last plate of slaw and ribs this Saturday before closing its doors forever.

One of the owners, Deborah Williams, said she and her brother and sister made the decision to close the location because they "are tired and ready for some much-needed retirement." All three owners are in their 60s.

Hot Sauce Williams' last day of business will be on Saturday. They will remain open until every last customer waiting in line is served.

The restaurant was started by the current owners' uncles, a group of five brothers.

Hot Sauce Williams' other two locations, on Lee Road in Cleveland and on Superior in Glenville, will remain open.
