Chester Avenue will remain partially closed Monday after a huge water main break shut down the road over the weekend.
Chester Avenue remains closed between East 36th Street and East 55th Street. That stretch of road is only open for local access.
East 40th Street is also closed between Euclid and Superior avenues.
The break happened around 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Officials said no homes or businesses are without water due to the break.
Mayor Frank Jackson stopped by the scene to get an update on the situation from Cleveland water crews.
The cause of the break is still under investigation.
