An update on an amazing recovery story: You may remember Indiana Bones, the dog found badly hurt, hit with sticks and bricks after being hit by a car.
He's now recovering at Cleveland's APL, while investigators try to find the people who hurt him.
Friday only News 5 talked to a family who says he's their dog! Formerly known as "Montana."

The Goshay family gave News 5 a call after seeing our story, and said they recognize the dog. They say their puppy had been missing for more than a month, after getting out without his collar on late February.
Breyana Goshay told News 5 they're very glad he's getting the care he needs at the APL. Now technically under the rescue groups guardianship, Goshay said she can't believe what he's been through.
"I was excited to know that he is somewhere safe and not out here with the cruel people in the world. But at the same time, it's so sad to know he's endured something like that. He's only seven months old. Someone would do that to him? Knowing how sweet and innocent he was," she said.
The APL increased the reward from $500 to $2,000 dollars for the tip that leads to an arrest in this animal abuse case- a witness said they saw three young men taking turns hurting the dog on a Cleveland street corner.
CEO and President of the APL, Sharon Harvey, told News 5 Indiana Bones is due for surgery on both his legs next week, he's on antibiotics and is is great spirits.
