LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Lakewood police are investigating a rash of car break-ins across the city that happened within the last week.

Fifteen police reports have been filed about a man breaking into unlocked cars, garages and attempting to break into the back of residents' homes.

The reports aren't in just one part of town; cars were broken into from Wilbert Drive near West 117th Street to Webb Road on the west side of town, according to reports.

Surveillance video captured by residents show a man wearing a brown jacket, with a blue hoodie underneath and a blue hat. He also has a beard.

Anyone with information on these break ins is asked to call Lakewood police at 216-521-6773.
