A man was shot twice behind a barbershop in Cleveland Heights on Thursday morning.
According to police, the victim was a customer that had a dispute with an employee at Excel's Barbershop, 2575 Noble Road.
The shooting happened behind the building, police said. The victim, who police have not identified, was shot in the leg. He was also grazed in the chest by a bullet. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
Nearby Oxford Elementary School was placed on a short lockdown while police responded to the situation. The lockdown was lifted a short time later.
Authorities arrested the employee, Eddie Henderson, 27, in connection with the shooting and charged with attempted murder. He is currently being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
