A man sustained traumatic injuries after getting shot on the city's east side Wednesday morning.
Police and EMS arrived at the 3900 block of E. 71st Street near Indiana Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. for a person with a gunshot wound in the street.
The victim, a 33-year-old man, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition.
Air Tracker 5 was over the scene as EMS placed the victim in the ambulance.
No further information was released.
