MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Authorities in Pennsylvania arrested a 19-year-man last week charged for the deaths of two men in Maple Heights in March.
Jalen Smith, 19, was captured by the Pennsylvania General’s Office Task Force on June 28, according to a news release from Maple Heights police.
Smith had been on the run since being identified as the suspect in the March 16 shooting that left two people dead and one person injured. A warrant was filed on aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder charges.
Authorities said that Smith is awaiting extradition back to Ohio to face charges.
