CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police have located a 3-month-old baby boy early Thursday morning after the baby’s mother reported him missing.

According to a police report, the non-custodial father, 30-year-old Jimmy Eacho, assaulted the mother before taking the baby.

It happened just after 9 p.m Wednesday on Cleveland’s East Side. The baby’s mom told police she argued with Eacho and she said Eacho dragged her down the stairs, assaulted her and fired shots at her.

She ran away from the home and when she got back she realized the 3-month-old baby was gone.

4th district police found Eacho at a friend’s house on East 188th Street and arrested him.

Police tell News 5 the baby boy is OK and in stable condition. He’s currently with his grandmother.

Eacho has not yet been charged.
