Police are investigating a homicide in which a man was found shot inside of a home on the city’s East side on Friday, authorities said.
According to police, the 42-year-old victim’s mother came home, located on the 4300 block of East 111th Street, and found him unresponsive on the dining room floor with a gunshot wound to his arm at around 11:45 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner will determine the victim’s final cause of death.
