Parma police arrested a second person in connection to a April 6 home invasion and robbery that involved shots fired in the 7300 block of Maplewood Drive.
Kyle A. Vokac, 24, of Cuyahoga Heights, was charged in Parma Municipal Court with one count of aggravated robbery.
Officials said Vokac was given a $250,000 bond in court. The case against Vokac was given to the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court and the case will be presented to a grand jury.
The morning of April 6 around 8:30, police believed Vokac and another man, identified as William Mareda, forced entry into a home located in the 7300 block of Maplewood Drive. Once inside, Vokac and Mareda robbed two people at gunpoint. After both offenders fled the home, at least two gun shots were fired into the front window of the residence. Vokac and Mareda fled the area in a vehicle. Neither victim was injured.
Mareda was arrested on April 11 and was later indicted by a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury for his role in the home invasion.
