Police are investigating two reports of one or more African American females knocking on doors in the city and stealing residents' keys as part of a "school project."
The suspect or suspects knocked on doors and asked to see residents' keys for a "school project." But once the suspect(s) had the keys, the resident would be further distracted and the keys would be used to steal cars, according to police.
