Cleveland police report finding a male down in the street with a gunshot wound in his stomach early Saturday, after the victim had reportedly been starting fights with bar patrons.
The victim was allegedly highly intoxicated when he had gone to the bar area, near East 71st Street and Berdelle Avenue, according to reports police took.
When officers responded to the incident, a large crowd had gathered; and it was mostly uncooperative with police, authorities stated.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, possibly in an orange coat and possibly diriving a gray sedan. He was the last person seen arguing with the victim, according to police.
Officers reported giving the victim first aid until EMS arrived.
