An unidentified woman was found dead Saturday at around 2 p.m. inside a vacant house at 3789 East 143rd Street, according to Cleveland police.

A group of children found the body while cutting through the yard of the home, Ward 2 Councilman Zack Reed said.
Authorities have not identified the body of the woman, who officials estimate to be around 20 years old.  Police have not said how they believe the body ended up in the home.
“We just need to do something about these abandoned houses," neighbor Raymond Johnson said. "She’s been in there. She could be concealed and we’ll never know.”
The Cuyahoga County medical examiner responded and will determine the cause of death, police said.
