RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Richmond Heights Police Department and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating after a man and a woman were found dead inside a home Sunday night, according to a police report.
On Sunday at around 6:31 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of Gentry Circle for a welfare check.
The two residents living there, a man and a woman, were both found dead inside the home, police said.
The medical examiner later identified the woman as 62-year-old Cheryl Matthews.
In a statement, Richmond Heights police said, "we offer condolences to the friends and family during this difficult time."
Both police and the medical examiner's office are investigating this incident.
