Westlake police are looking for a disgruntled restaurant customer after she complained about the quality of her meal and then allegedly stole several gift cards while an employee was remaking her food.

According to Capt. Guy Turner, the incident occurred on Aug. 27 around 1 p.m. during the afternoon lunch rush at Zoup! on Detroit Road.

The woman was captured on security cameras reaching over the counter to take three loyalty cards worth $25 while the employee was distracted.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman.

Police said the woman is also suspected of a similar incident in 2015 at the same restaurant.

Anyone with information regarding her identity is asked to contact the Westlake Police Department at 440-871-3311.

“We would like to say ‘no soup for you! to her,” Turner said. “Followed by you have the right to remain silent."
