A bold robber hit three fast food restaurants all within a block of each other this week in Lakewood.
According to police, the man made his way into the KFC on West 117th Street around 2 a.m. Monday through the drive-thru window.
Then, police say he headed over to Dunkin Donuts right down the street. He attempted to break in but a door chime scared him off. An employee who was in the donut shop at the time of the attempted robbery called 911. Listen to that call in the media player above.
The next morning around the same time the man attempted to break into the Mr. Hero restaurant in the area.
Police say there was a "look out" person in all three break ins. Surveillance video showed the suspects riding bikes westbound on Franklin Blvd.
