What used to be a long, almost frozen sheet of ice is now dispersed into chunks along the banks of the Rocky River.
The National Weather Service issued a Flood Advisory for rising waters after an ice jam was reported Friday morning in the City of Rocky River by local fire crews.
Chunks of ice that once were composed of sheets have now washed up along the banks of the river following days of warm temperatures. Piles of ice made their way onto the boat ramp near the Clifton Road Bridge.

Officials expect minor flooding in the area of the Metroparks until the ice jam breaks.
