RTA along with its partners and supporters will unveil the first of 12 new trolleys as Cleveland readies for this summer’s Republican National Convention.
Members from the RTA, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, City of Cleveland and ward three councilman will be on hand to discuss new plans for this service which may include an expansion.
RTA describes the new trolleys to be 35 feet long and can hold more riders than the current ones.
In April the trolleys currently being used will celebrate its 10th anniversary and may be retired after the RNC.
Officials will unveil the new trolleys on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Pickwick and Frolic located at 2035 East 4th Street. At 10:30 a.m.
