SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Shaker Heights police are investigating after the body of an 83-year-old woman was found inside of a home.
The woman has been identified as Lavonne Taylor.
Police were called for a welfare check to a home in the 18000 block of Lomond Boulevard before 1:30 p.m.
Police were on scene for a little more than eight hours.
A relative told News 5 that Taylor had lived in the home for 34 years.
