CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A man was shot early Friday morning following a disturbance at a Cleveland Heights hookah bar, police have confirmed.
Authorities said they responded to the 2700 block of Euclid Heights Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. While police were on scene, one patron was escorted out of the building by employees. A short time later, shots were fired from outside while police were working to make patrons leave.
One male victim was shot in the leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made. Anyone who witnessed the shooting is asked to call Cleveland Heights police at 216-321-1234. Tips can be anonymous.
