John Carroll University students found themselves without a place to sleep Wednesday night after power went out in two dorms.
According to the university's website, Campion and Hamlin halls were evacuated due to the outage.
Some students arrived back to their dorms overnight to find that their keys didn't work and they couldn't get inside.
"I can't get any of my stuff," one student told newsnet5.com. "I just have my wallet and trying to find somewhere to sleep."
First Energy is currently working to restore power. During the outage, the university is providing supervised locations in the Lombardo Student Center where students can stay until the dorms reopen.
