LAKEWOOD, Ohio — A St. Edward High School teacher has pleaded guilty to a charge for sending an online message to an undercover agent he thought was a minor.
Patrick DeChant, 33, pleaded guilty to attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
DeChant agreed to forfeit his cellphone and his 2006 Honda Civic to the state.
He will be sentenced on Feb. 26.
A St. Ed's official said he is no longer employed at the school.
