Student at North Olmsted High School found with tear gas device

A North Olmsted High School student is facing disciplinary action after school official's say he was found inside a boy's restroom with a tear gas device.

The student's name, age and grade have not been released.

Police were called to the school following an "incident" in the restroom. Authorities found a small, tear gas device about the size of a pen in the boy's possession. The student was removed from the building.

No one was in danger and no threats were made, school officials said.

School officials said the boy will be, "subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the code of conduct."
