Got money to burn? One Lyndhurst resident did this weekend, apparently.
Lyndhurst Fire Department responded to a home for a report of an odor of smoke inside.
When firefighters arrived, the homeowner said they found money burning near the upstairs bedroom window.
Fire investigators determined that a reflective mirror sitting on the dresser reflected the sun onto the money, causing it to heat up and catch fire.
The fire burned itself out before spreading.
