An SUV crashed into an unrestricted area at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Friday morning.
The driver went off Brookpark Road and drove through several fences before hitting concrete barriers.
The man was found nearby inside a construction area off Brookpark Road. He didn't make it into the airfield area but made it inside the first row of the fence, which is considered a restricted area.
The driver ran off after a short search around the airport perimeter. Cleveland police handcuffed him and placed him into custody.
