NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio — A police officer is considering himself lucky after a tree fell on his cruiser as he was driving Thursday morning.
The officer with the North Royalton Police Department was driving on Bunker Road between State Road and Ridge Road when the tree fell on top of his vehicle, according to authorities.
The officer was transported to a nearby hospital but is expected to be okay, and even joked about buying a lottery ticket, police said.
