A two-car crash on Miles Road in North Randall sent one person to the hospital just after 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The crash happened near the intersection of Miles Road and Derbyshire Drive.
The driver of a Chevrolet Camaro was out walking around when police arrived. The other driver in an SUV was unable to get out because of the damage to the driver door.
North Randall firefighters responded from their station, which is about 300 feet from where the crash happened, and freed the person stuck in the SUV after forcing the passenger door open.
The person in the SUV was alert and talking when transported from the scene to a local hospital.
The driver of the Camaro was placed in the back of an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper's car in handcuffs, but it was unknown what charges -- if any -- that person was facing.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
