SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — A water main break has closed the area near the intersection of Chagrin Boulevard and Avalon Road, Shaker Heights police confirmed Wednesday.
The water main break has closed down the traffic flow in both east and westbound lanes on Chagrin Boulevard.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area while crews work to repair it.
