Westlake police looking for man who stuffed $1,000 fur coat down his pants, walked out of store

WESTLAKE, Ohio — The Westlake Police Department is looking for a man who walked into a fur store, stuffed a fur coat down his pants and walked out.

The theft happened Nov. 26 around 12:30 p.m. at a fur store on Center Ridge Road.

Police said that the fur coat is worth around $1,000. A security camera captured footage of the incident. Police said they are looking for two men in connection with the theft.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the police at 440-871-3311. Tips can anonymous. Police ask that you reference "Sword Furs shoplifting" when you call.
