A woman was struck and killed inside a parking garage at Crocker Park Sunday.
The 32-year-old woman, Jaclyn Winterborne, was walking on the first floor when she was struck by a Jeep Wrangler, police said. She was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she died.
Drugs, alcohol and speed are not suspected as factors in the crash. The Westlake City Prosecutor will rule on the matter after the investigation is complete.
A spokesperson for Crocker Park expressed sympathies to Winterborne's family and noted that no serious traffic crashes have happened at the shopping center before.
