Two arrested in connection with CWRU robberies

A woman was robbed of her 2009 Mercury Milan plate number GLT-4055 in the 3500 block of East 116th around 10 p.m. Friday police said.

Police said the suspects were in a stolen 2016 Ford Escape which is wanted in connection with a March 1st aggravated robbery where a Case Western Reserve University student was robbed at gunpoint.

Two juvenile males were arrested when the stolen Ford Escape was spotted around 1 a.m. Saturday after a short pursuit that ended at 1 Wade Oval police said.

The stolen Ford Escape is wanted for crimes in Cleveland as well as Cleveland Heights police said.

Two other teenaged black males are still on the loose in the stolen Mercury Milan. Police said they are armed.
