SANDUSKY, Ohio — Cedar Point is making it even harder to sneak loose articles onto its newest ride.
The amusement park is adding metal detectors to the lines at Steel Vengeance to ensure that riders secure their articles in the designated zipped pouches on the train, a Cedar Point representative confirmed.
The ride already had a loose article policy, which means purses, backpacks and other similar items are prohibited from even entering the line.
Cedar Point opens for the season on May 11.
