Police: Five people hurt in shooting at Sandusky bar

A fun night out turned violent for patrons at a bar in Sandusky overnight.

According to the Sandusky Police Department, officers received numerous calls around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday about a shooting at Milan Rd Bar and Grill located at 1504 Milan Rd.

Once on scene, police discovered five people had been shot. One of them had to be life flighted to the hospital. Their current conditions are unknown at this time. 

Based on the preliminary investigation, it appears dozens of shots were exchanged between several people with firearms, according to police.

There were 71 shell casings found at the scene, according to the police chief of the Sandusky Police Department.

No arrests have been made.
