PERKINS TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Perkins Township Friday afternoon.
Around 12:41 p.m., a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country was traveling east on Perkins Avenue when it drove left of center into the path of a 2004 Honda motorcycle traveling west on Perkins Avenue.
The Chrysler struck the motorcycle head on, troopers said.
The 31-year-old driver of the Chrysler did not sustain any injuries in the crash, but the 67-year-old driver of the motorcycle, identified as David Prinkey, sustained fatal injuries, according to troopers.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
