A Vermilion resident was rescued Friday by authorities after he rode his lawnmower off a cliff.
The incident happened on the 3800 block of Edgewater Drive. The man was rescued and then taken to Mercy Health Regional Medical Center in Lorain for treatment.
Officials haven't released the man's identity or condition.
The Vermilion Police Department thanked resident Michael Pollack on Facebook for his quick response in alerting them. "Well done," police said.
