The U.S. Marshals have arrested a registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to breaking into several schools in Euclid over the summer but didn't show up for court.

The warrant was filed on Oct. 11 in Cuyahoga County after Jon Charles Titter, 38, failed to show up for court. Titter had previously pleaded guilty to burglary and breaking and entering charges and was out on bond.

Titter was arrested at his Euclid home by the U.S. Marshals on Friday.

According to court documents, Titter was also wanted on several charges out of Geauga County.

On Oct. 2, a Geauga County grand jury indicted Titter on two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of petty theft for allegedly breaking into a building on June 21. Authorities in Geauga County issued a warrant for his arrest the same day.

Police said the Geauga County charges stem from an incident where Titter allegedly broke into a school and stole yearbooks.

Titter is a registered sex offer in Ohio after being convicted of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material in 2004, according to state records. He was released from prison in 2008.
