CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Firefighters responded to a burning home on Sunday night in Chester Township, located in Geauga County.
Firefighters arrived to the 13100 block of Westchester Trail at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The Geauga County Coroner's Office confirmed a resident and a dog died in the fire.
When crews arrived on scene, the home was engulfed in flames.
