NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio — Gas prices in Northeast Ohio continue to drop, according to AAA.

The average price for gas is 11 cents cheaper this week at $2.31 per gallon.

Gas prices could drop below the $2 mark soon, according to AAA.

New Philadelphia has the cheapest gas in the area at $2.13 per gallon and Aurora has the most expensive gas in the area at $2.46 per gallon.

The national average gas price is $2.43.
