The Geauga County Humane Society's Rescue Village's New Year Resolution is to have an empty shelter on New Year's Day.
So the organization is waiving adoption fees for adult dogs and cats for the remainder of 2015 — Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.
The shelter will be open from noon to 4 p.m. both days.
