The Geauga County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash involving a semi and a pickup truck that happened early Thursday evening.
According to authorities, the crash happened near U.S. Route 422 and Shaw Road in Auburn Township. The crash occurred when a vehicle hit the back of a tractor-trailer, deputies said.
Authorities didn't provide any additional details regarding the crash or how many people may have been injured.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene. The eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. 422 were closed while crews worked in the area.
